Naša mala “ambulanta” S. LUKRECIJA MAMIĆ

Tako je mala, a tako velika.

Još uvijek nema ni zidova ni krova. Njezine su prostorije zapravo sve prostorije naše misije – od Centra sv. Carla Acutisa pa sve do kapelice. Nema suvremenu opremu ni velike prostorije, ali ima ono najvrjednije – srce puno ljubavi koje kuca za najsiromašnije.

Svakoga dana kroz ovu malu ambulantu prolaze djeca oboljela od malarije, s teškim infekcijama, posjekotinama, opeklinama i različitim kožnim bolestima. Za mnoge od njih ovo je jedina prilika da prime liječničku pomoć i osjete da nisu zaboravljeni.

Ono što ovu ambulantu čini još ljepšom jest činjenica da danas u njoj rade mladi ljudi koji su nekoć i sami bili korisnici našega Centra sv. Carla Acutisa. Zahvaljujući dobroti brojnih dobročinitelja završili su školovanje, a zatim se vratili svome narodu kako bi liječili, tješili i služili svojoj braći i sestrama.

U njihovim se životima nastavlja živjeti duh sestre Lukrecije Mamić, kojoj je ambulanta posvećena – služiti tiho, ponizno, strpljivo i s osmijehom koji ulijeva nadu. Ljubav koja je jednom dotaknula njihova srca danas preko njihovih ruku dotiče živote novih naraštaja djece.

Ova mala ambulanta nije samo mjesto liječenja. Ona je znak da dobrota rađa dobrotu, da se ljubav uvijek vraća umnožena i da Bog preko otvorenih ljudskih srdaca nastavlja činiti velika djela.

Hvala svima koji svojim molitvama, žrtvama i darovima sudjeluju u ovoj priči ljubavi u srcu Karamoje. Vi ste dio svakog izliječenog djeteta, svakog osmijeha i svake nade koja se ovdje ponovno rađa.

Our Little Clinic  Sr. Lukrecija Mamić

So small, yet so great.

It still has no walls and no roof. In reality, its “rooms” are every corner of our mission—from the St. Carlo Acutis Centre all the way to the little chapel. It has no modern equipment or spacious facilities, but it possesses something far more precious: a heart full of love that beats for the poorest.

Every day, children suffering from malaria, severe infections, cuts, burns, and various skin diseases come to this little clinic. For many of them, this is their only chance to receive medical care and to experience that they have not been forgotten.

What makes this clinic even more beautiful is that today it is staffed by young people who were once beneficiaries of our St. Carlo Acutis Centre. Thanks to the generosity of so many benefactors, they were able to complete their education and have now returned to their own people to heal, comfort, and serve their brothers and sisters.

In their lives, the spirit of Sister Lukrecija Mamić—after whom this clinic is named—continues to live on: serving quietly, humbly, patiently, and with a smile that brings hope. The love that once touched their hearts now reaches a new generation of children through their caring hands.

This little clinic is much more than a place of healing. It is a living sign that goodness gives birth to goodness, that love always returns multiplied, and that God continues to accomplish great things through hearts that are open to others.

Thank you to everyone who, through your prayers, sacrifices, and generosity, has become part of this beautiful story of love in the heart of Karamoja. You are part of every child who is healed, every smile that returns, and every new hope that is born here.
